My English Learning Journey
From Self-Study to Career: Opening a New World of English Through Themed Learning
The limits of my language mean the limits of my world.
Starting from Zero: A Self-Learning Journey
My English learning journey began with self-study. Faced with thick vocabulary books and complex grammar rules, I often felt lost and frustrated. But as Edison said: 'Genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration.' Through continuous effort and practice, I gradually found my own learning rhythm.
After months of persistence, I finally found a job opportunity in a foreign trade company. This was not only a recognition of my English ability but also a validation of my learning methods. This experience made me deeply realize thatEnglish is not just a language, but a key to opening up a new world。
💡 Learning Insight: Every practice is a step towards the goal, and mastering every word is a cornerstone to success.
Accumulation and Sharing of Valuable Experience
During the process of learning and working, I accumulated many practical learning methods and experiences. These valuable experiences made me realize that I can help more friends who want to improve their English ability. As John F. Kennedy said:
As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.
This is also my original intention in creating this English course—to help more people achieve their goals faster through scientific and effective methods, avoiding detours in their English learning journey.
Themed English Learning Method
🎯 Core Concept
I particularly advocate the 'Themed English Learning' method. This method is not simply memorizing words and grammar, but learning through specific themes and scenarios.
Why Choose Themed Learning?
- More Interesting:Make learning vivid and engaging through real scenarios and interesting topics
- More Practical:Close to actual application scenarios, apply what you learn
- More Efficient:Systematic learning, twice the result with half the effort
- More Lasting:Contextualized memory makes knowledge more solid
When you master the vocabulary and expressions related to a theme, you can use them freely in actual scenarios. This learning method not only improves learning efficiency but more importantly cultivates real language application ability.
Three Steps of Themed Learning
Choose Theme
Choose learning themes based on interests and needs, such as business, travel, daily conversations, etc.
Contextual Learning
Learn related vocabulary, phrases, and expressions in specific contexts
Practical Application
Consolidate what you've learned through role-playing, dialogue practice, etc.
